Grand Prix Tournament | Master Finals fills up quickly

29-04-2023

More than 10 years ago, the first edition of the Grand Prix Tournament was created as a celebration of the 65th anniversary of BC Drop Shot. Due to the enthusiasm of many badminton players, this tournament has now become a permanent fixture and has been expanded with the Master Finals. What about it again and why you should register today.

Now that we celebrate our 75th anniversary, we will also celebrate our 10th edition. The Grand Prix tournament was expanded a few years ago with a Master Finals. Since then known as Grand Prix | Master Finals. What's up again?

Master Finals
The Master Finals is the final tournament of all master tournaments. Everyone registers for the Grand Prix tournament, but only the 8 highest ranked players/couples from the Master circuit of six previous Master tournaments can participate in the Master Finals. You can only qualify if you have participated in 3 or more master tournaments. The tournament organization will place the players in the correct tournament based on the ranking.

The losers of the quarter-finals within the Master Finals enter the quarter-finals of the GP class of the Grand Prix tournament. This way everyone is guaranteed a few good matches and maybe great prizes.

The winner of the Master Finals (per single player/per double pair) will receive a cash prize of €400.00.

Grand Prix
The Grand Prix tournament is open to all players in category 1 ("GP class") and categories 3, 5 and 7. So whether you belong to the top of the Netherlands or have just started with this beautiful sport, you are of cordially invited to register.

Prize pool
The Grand Prix tournament has a significantly larger prize pool than all other tournaments. For example, the Grand Prix tournament may provide you with more than a few tasty matches.

MEEAT
In addition to sweating and enjoying the top matches of Dutch top players, the relaxed atmosphere is also important. There is plenty of room for conviviality, a snack and a drink on the terrace of our beautiful sports centre. You can even opt for an attractive tournament snack. We call that MEEAT (contraction of meet and eat).

Are you there
We hope you will join us again. Of course as a player, but if you don't play, you are of course also very welcome as a spectator. Oh yes, don't forget to register, it would be a pity if we are already full...
